The Philippine/American
Foundation for The Homeless
August 28, 1998

The annual fund raising event for The Philippine/American Foundation for the Homeless was held August 28th, 1998. Ruth was the chairman of the event which featured a style show by the Contessa Bottega shop on Delaware Street in Chicago. For publicity for the show, Ruth poses in the shop wearing a Sophia Sitbon outfit which she purchased and also modeled in the show.

Ruth and Paula Bartlett are picked up by Carl Schultz, owner of Best Limousine, for the event. As a favor to Nellie Weiss, the founder of the Philippine Foundation, Ruth had agreed to set up a booth at the party to show her video, Modern American Dining and Entertaining Etiquette and sell her booklets. She donated all the proceeds back to the foundation. Ruth’s gown is by Patricia Rhodes.

In addition to being the chairman of the event, Ruth was also one of the models. She is strutting out in a beautiful cashmere outfit by Fendi.

For those cold winter days in Chicago, Ruth dons a fur jacket by Keim Furriers.

Ruth talks her husband into modeling for the show too! She is wearing a Sophia Sitbon evening dress and matching coat while her husband, Dale, is wearing a suit from the Realta Boutique which is located on Delaware Street next door to Contessa Bottega in Chicago.

Dale really loves being on stage – he only pretends to object!!
